Coagulant is a chemical used for destabilising the natural forces/charges which keep fine particles (or colloids) from coming together.

TYPE OF COAGULANTS :

We provide both available organic and inorganic coagulants as these are frequently used, often in conjunction with flocculants, for the treatment of waste or potable water.

Organic Coagulants (Chemical Based) :

• Polyamines
• Polydadmacs (Poly Dimethyl Diallyl Ammonium Chloride)
• Dicyandiamide resins types

Inorganic Coagulants (Chemical Based) :

• Aluminium Sulphate (Alum)
• Poly Aluminium chloride (PAC)
• Ferric Sulphate
• Ferric Chloride

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS :

•  Primary Treatment of municipal sewage
• Treatment of potable water
• Treatment of industrial waste water (Textiles/Paper/Metal Industries)

PRODUCT SELECTION :

Always initiate with laboratory testwork followed by plant trials ;

If not possible then full details of incumbent product to offer nearest equivalent product.

On new startups consider :

• Wastewater characteristics
• Any prior chemical/biological treatment
• Dewatering process (sedimentation/filtration/centrifugation or flotation)
• Availability of synthesised/similar wastewater samples. 
• Client requirements on flocculant type (Powder or Liquid)
