HOW CRUST FORMED AND WHAT IS THE CONSEQUENCE?
Scalant formed if total dissolved solids on high concentrate caused water evaporation process effect from continuously heat exchange on condenser tube or evaporator (Heat Exchanger).

Formed mekanism simply explained as follows:
Ca (HCO3)2    —›  CaCO3      +    H2O    +    CO2
On full amount crust (CaCO3) crystallized and stacked onHeat Exchanger/Condenser Tubes or Evaporator. Stacked crust pad blocked heat exchanger process in such way cooling efficiency dropped. This marked with high pressure and temperature on refrigeration systems until caused "trip" (automatic shut down) and this caused down-time cost. Or if machines keep running, activity load higher in other words “electric cost” bigger.
