WHAT WE CAN DO FOR YOU BY USING NEUTRALIZING AMINE ?
Neutralizing amines neutralise the carbonic acids (H2CO3) generated by the solution of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) in condensate. Amines will hydrolise in water to generate hydroxide ions (OH-) are required for neutralisation.
Mechanism of Reaction, as the following;
R-NH2 + H2O ---------> R-NH3 + OH-
OH- + H2CO3 --------> H2O + HCO3-
By regulating the neutralizing amine feed-rate, the condensate pH can be elevated to within a desired range between 8.0 - 8.5
