We thought that the increase in power output by using our fogging to a large extent was independent on the time of the day. We have got some references from our clients that we are right on this and confirm that the augmentation can be reached up to 15% or a bit more. It is really interested, isn’t it ?
Let us try to explain this to you.
Our fogging system has got 2 arrays, one just behind the filters, and one behind the silencer.
The one behind the filters is the normal fogging array. The effect of this system is dependent on local ambient conditions.
WHAT ARE THINGS SHOULD BE TAKEN TO OUR CONSIDERATION ?
For the case in Indonesia is not a very good country for ordinary fogging. As we know, the idea is to saturate the inlet air with water and cool the air down. However, you cannot get more than 100% saturation. If it exceeds 100%, you get “rain” inside the compressor. Due to the very high humidity in the ambient air here in Indonesia, the amount of water you can add into the airstream is very limited. Ordinary fogging thus will only enhance output with 3 – 5%.
WHAT IS THE ADVANTAGE OF OUR FOGGING SYSTEM ?
The effect of overspray is not dependent on ambient conditions. It is the heat of the compressed air making it possible to evaporate this water in the air, and the air which reaches this area has been 100% saturated regardless whether the relative humidity in the ambient air is 40% or 80%. There might be a slight difference in the temperature reaching this area depending on the time of the day, but this difference, if any at all, is negligible. Thus, the enhancement of power caused by the overspray will be more or less constant. And we are proud to offer you a possibilty to augment your GT’s power out-put up to 15% more.
